The Venue

Located on the bustling Wexford Street thoroughfare, next door to its famous sister venue Whelan’s, The Village incorporates a live music venue, late night bar, restaurant and nightclub. The building, designed by acclaimed architect Chris Jones of Atlantic Architects comprises over 1200m.sq of bars and entertainment space over three floors. Combining old and new, the refurbished brick, natural wood floors, comfortable leather seating and subtle lighting have been carefully chosen to create a warm setting and ambience.

The venue and club space holds a 650 capacity with the addition of a plush and intimate mezzanine balcony bar suitable for V.I.P guests, artist recreation and private parties. A recent investment of over €100k in a state of the art sound and lighting system has allowed for superb production facilities to rival the best venues in Europe.

The Balcony Bar

Now this really is a room with a view; the newly refurbished Balcony Bar has quickly become a favourite with corporate and private parties alike.
